Niteco Builds a Dream Playground for Over 400 Hoa Binh Students

Last week, the Niteco team embarked on a heartwarming two-day charity trip to Hoa Binh province, in collaboration with the inspiring social enterprise Lăn Bánh Ước Mơ (LBUM). Founded in 2017, LBUM shares Niteco's commitment to creating positive social impact through business endeavours. This marked the second collaboration between the two organizations, following a successful partnership in 2019.

Making this trip even more special, Niteco extended an invitation to employees' family members, resulting in 30 enthusiastic participants. The destination for this year's initiative was Trung Hoa elementary and junior high schools, home to over 400 students, including a quarter facing economic challenges. Our goal was to build for them a brand-new playground.

On the first day, the team rolled up their sleeves to start on the work. The newly constructed play area includes two seesaws, a balance bridge, a tyre tunnel, a multifunctional movement frame, a slide, a pair of swings, and decorative animals, with an artificial turf background. On the second day, a joyful ceremony marked the official opening of the playground. The event was even more memorable with the giveaway of 2400 high-quality notebooks made by Niteco, a new school drum, and thoughtful gift sets to the students. The project's total value amounted to an impressive 77 million VND (~ USD 3000). While the trip was filled with rewarding experiences, a humorous twist unfolded on the return journey. Niteco team encountered a car trouble that brought their adventure to a temporary halt for two hours. However, this unexpected delay turned into an opportunity for bonding, as everyone came together to share laughter and stories over the past two days.

Through this charity trip, Niteco has once again demonstrated our dedication to creating positive change in the community. By building a new playground and providing essential school supplies, we have brought smiles to the faces of the children at Trung Hoa schools. Let's take a look at these precious moments together!
